A public talk by GESHE JAMYANG TSULTRIM. It can be hard to appreciate a sense of meaning in our daily lives. Sometimes our emotions, our interactions with other people, or stressful circumstances just seem to make things worse. Buddha's "Four Noble Truths" are simple to grasp, yet profound enough to guide us towards a more compassionate understanding of ourselves and those around us. Learn how compassion and "loving kindness" can bring a sense of satisfaction and enlightened meaning to our lives. (Suggested background reading: Many Ways to Nirvana: Reflections and Advice on Right Living by H.H. the Dalai Lama.) $10; no one turned away due to lack of funds. Call 360-786-1309 for more info.
