Lojong workshop

Khenpo Pema is abbot of the seven Palden Sakya Centers on the East Coast, Argentina, and Brazil; including the headquarters of the Sakya Lineage in North America in NY.  Lama Pema is a highly skilled teacher who has taught in the West for 29 years.  Among his many accomplishments are creating a Tibetan Braille system, establishing schools and a nunnery in Nepal and India, and receiving the "Ellis Island Medal of Honor" for his humanitarian work around the world.

Khenpo Pema is a friend of Geshe Jamyang.  It is through that connection that we have the good fortune to be able to bring him here to Olympia.  See more information on Khenpo Pema.

This teaching is coordinated with our 2012 study group, which is studying Lojong – Seven Point Mind Training of Tibetan Buddhism.  Also, the practice of Parting from the Four Attachments will be on the agenda.
